Gaza University's Department of Media organizes a scientific visit to Al-Aqsa Radio and Television

The Department of Media at Gaza University organized a scientific visit to the headquarters of Al-Aqsa Radio and Television. The visit was part of the practical activities of the course on program preparation and presentation, supervised by Mrs. Wisam Al-Ghalban, a lecturer in the Department of Media. Several students from the Department of Media at Gaza University participated in the visit.

 

Dr. Raed Khader, the Head of the Department of Media at Gaza University, emphasized the department's commitment to training students and honing their skills in line with the rapid technological advancements in the field of media work. He highlighted the importance of preparing students for the local and international job market with a high level of efficiency and professionalism. He commended the role and efforts of the faculty members in linking theoretical aspects with practical work through organizing such activities and scientific visits to various media institutions in the Gaza Strip.

He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Al-Aqsa Television for hosting the department's students and providing them with training in various radio and television departments. He particularly thanked Mrs. Wisam Al-Ghalban for her relentless efforts in training students on new media techniques.

Mrs. Wisam Al-Ghalban, a lecturer in the Department of Media at Gaza University, explained that the visit included introducing the students to the workings of radio and television, the role and performance of presenters, program preparation mechanisms, as well as introducing the students to the various departments and sections of radio and television. She explained the working mechanisms of each department and the nature of the equipment and devices available.

It is worth mentioning that during the visit, the students were trained in delivering a concise news bulletin on the radio and in the news studio of the television, and their performance was excellent. The staff at the radio and television praised their high-quality and outstanding performance.
