The Department of English Language and Translation at Faculty of Communication  and Languages organized a workshop on Screen Translation: Subtitling for the students of the department and the college. This activity is part of the faculty’s efforts to enhance the students' abilities and skills. Mrs. Rola Mansour, the Head of the Department of English Language and Translation, emphasized the importance of such activities for the students, as they provide them with valuable skills that enable them to engage in the job market.

Omar Mahanna, the workshop coordinator and a student from the department, started the discussion on Screen Translation: Subtitling, highlighting the differences between it and other forms of translation. He also talked about the software used in screen translation and how to perform audio transcription using subtitling software.

The workshop included an open discussion and an opportunity for the attendees, including students from the department and the college, to ask questions and seek clarification on the topic.
