The Faculty of Intermediate Studies at Gaza University was established in 2012/13 with the objective of offering educational opportunities to General High School students who may not meet the admission requirements for pursuing higher education and obtaining a bachelor's degree. As a result, Gaza University provides an intermediate Diploma degree to students who have successfully completed their General High School education.

The Faculty of Intermediate Studies at Gaza University has the following objectives:

1. To offer practical and scientific programs that enable students to obtain an intermediate Diploma level of education.
2. To create and maintain a scientific and practical environment that contributes to the overall development of the educational process.
3. To emphasize scientific research in various fields, aiming to provide solutions to diverse social problems.
4. To produce qualified graduates who are capable of meeting the needs of the community and the Palestinian job market.

Graduate students of the Faculty of Intermediate Studies have diverse and promising job opportunities available to them. Upon completing their studies, they can pursue careers in the following fields:

1. Pursuing scientific and practical postgraduate university studies
2. Securing governmental jobs
3. Working in NGOs and international institutions
4. Joining the private sector enterprises
